At Equicork, we have the vision to be a more sustainable, animal and environmentally friendly alternative to leather.

We are founded on the value that the environment matters. As a result, every part of the manufacturing process has been considered to minimise our impact as best we can. We will continue to do so and reevaluate whenever new technology is available.

We are working hard to bring an end-of-life plan to products we hope to implement soon.

All our packaging uses FSC-certified cardboard and is recyclable; most is made from recycled content. Logos are printed using water-based inks. Our adorning ribbon is made from recycled plastic bottles! Recycled card and paper for our thank you and delivery notes. Tissue paper within the boxes from recycled content, and we also use compostable stickers and paper tape.

 

Animals are also hugely close to our hearts. We are committed to only using animal friendly production, even down to the glue.
We are working on being a carbon-neutral company. We are committed to planting a tree with every order to help restore forests worldwide, not just for us but for future generations.
We want to give back to charities to help in whatever way we can, whether with financial support or our time.
We are working on making our products entirely plastic-free, but the technology is not quite there. Wherever possible, we have used Recycled polyester in replacement
